It all depends on your playstyle and what you want to achieve in ESO. Later once you are used to the game we encourage every player to actually test out other classes and roles, the challenge will be fun! As a new player we do recommend picking one of the classes that suits best for a role, this will make your journey a lot easier and more enjoyable.
